Following the close completion of works at Trinity College Dublin, I have inserted some update photographs below

As you can see the completed roofing works on this old conservation building.  We have used only the high quality of materials (Blue Bangor Slate with Copper Nails, Cast aluminium Guttering From Alumasc, Conservation Hydraulic lime mix for pointing works, Lead Flashing in Valley detail)

 

2.Lead Detail

Lead Detail worked to five bay window details ( I will show more detailed pictures in my next post)

 

3.Polycarbonate Light

 

Installed polycarbonate (Natural Daylight Roofing Light), this light was installed on a build up system, consisting of:

Following my last blog two weeks ago, we have entered into 3 new contracts and these are as follows:

 

Number one

 

Roofing , Zinc, Domestic

 

We have completed the supply and fitting of 3 no. Zinc dormer windows on a residential site in north county Dublin.  Using our own Brand of Nedzinc you can clearly see from the picture below the quality and workmanship which was employed, if this has an interest to you please contact our office.  (we also do supply only)

Number 2 Slating Conservation Works

 

We recently were employed by Trinity College Dublin, to strip and re-clad a conservation building at the back of the Trinity complex! (Chief Stewards Building)

This job entailed

1.  Stripping of old blue bangor slate to be kept and re-used to the front of the building

2.  Treating of the timber joicing

3.  Removal and replacement of conservation gutters, replacing using new alumasc guttering cast aluminium

4.  The treating and replacement of all timber fascia and soffit details

5.  Re-clad using new blue bangor slates to the backs of the building

6.  The re-leading of dormer window and extrusion details

7.  Supplying new ridge tiles and capping details

Number 3 Torch on works

 

Following our success in Trinity College Dublin,  we have gained a new contract “The Re-clad of old felt and asphalt roofing and the removal of asbestos gutters and installation of new pressed metal gutter detail”

The Torch on hot works are taking place over the canteen roof, we will be installing a new build up system and replacing dome roof lights

Following our last post we have completed the roof from our last blog in just under one week,  Erection of scaffolding, removal and disposal of asbestos slate (approx 1000 units), supplying and fitting of new velux window, the capping of chimney cowls, slating also 1000 units true tone tegral slate using 2 no, copper nails and 1 no. copper crampion, cleaning of the site and dismantling of scaffolding

High Performance Roofing began the Re-clad slating project on a house in Drumcondra on monday of this week,  the domestic project consists of the stripping of asbestos slates and enviromentally dispose of the slate, installation of new insulation new upvc fascias and soffit also.

 

The roof will be completed by the end of this week, using new blue black  cement fibre slates tegral true tone.  We have also installed a small velux window which has made a huge difference to the natural light with in the house. 

 

I have attach some photographs of high performance roofing operativrs at work showing the application for stripping asbestos slates (show the protective clothing which is required) also we have show the roof which has been fleted using a breathable slating membrane and batten out using treated 2 x 1 timbers
