Park Developments was formed in 1962 and, since its formation, the company has forged a reputation for building high quality residential and commercial properties.

 

In the last 50 years, Park has built 15,000 houses and apartments predominately in the Dublin area. All properties are built to exacting standards which encompasses a first-class finish and award winning landscape designs.

 

Requirements:

 

Park Developments has always embraced technology.  However, their existing accounting and database applications had not kept pace with advances in technology and with their growing business – a new solution became necessary.

 

They required a sophisticated database that could manage many transactions: - property sales, rentals, pre-sales, post sales snagging as well as sub-contractor management.

 

They also needed an accounting application that had job costing as its core ledger, could manage multiple companies and work with a large database of sub-contractors.

 

Reporting was critical and reports were required across all levels of managements not only at company level but also at group level.

 

Solution:

 

In 2015 we installed Advanced Business Manager Accounting with all the modules to include Job Costing and Payroll.

 

We created several companies and structured the databases, so that availability of reports would be at both company and group level. The payroll is integrated to enable provision of information in real time at all levels.

 

We then created the Database in Advanced Business Manager Accounting.  We imported the Masterfile data and outstanding transactions to Advanced Business Manager Accounting to reconcile their existing ledgers. We then deployed the Advanced Business Manager Accounting database on site.

 

We also installed a customised version of Maximizer Customer Relationship Management. This specific configuration enables us to replace their existing database, import the historical data, create dashboards and make the database available internally and externally on mobile devices.

 

The team at Park Developments replaced their existing systems with applications that are global, providing additional functionality which will be updated as technology advances.
