The key to any successful software deployment is training.

The minimum amount of knowledge is based on whom the program is for and what their job function is. There are different learning and teaching styles that we must take that into account before any training commences.

In the first instance, SSG provides an overview of our software to all users. This gives everyone a good understanding of the capabilities of the various applications and the impact it could have now or in the future.

We train two users to administrator level. This enables them to answer questions on a day to day basis but also to liaise with our support team on any issues that arise.

We set out a full training plan by job function and department. We encourage users to attend training at our office or we can provide training off site or online.

Our training program materials include a sample database with a copy of live data. Access to a laptop, training manual and a schedule of tasks to complete. We also set out objectives where the training follows logical steps. These objectives are at points where the employee can say that he or she knows what to do.

We will also provide a list of contacts at our office should any follow up questions arise.

Training will be completed and signed off before the systems go live.

It is important that any new employees attend for training. This will reduce errors and the time it takes to complete tasks.
